Victor Piperata, Executive Director of Cypress Palms Largo, was honored this week as the 2020 Assisted Living Facility Administrator of the Year by Florida Health Care Association (FHCA). The award, presented during FHCA’s 2020 at the Virtual Conference, is the highest honor given to an assisted living facility administrator in Florida’s long term care profession.
“Victor’s residents and team members marvel at his ability to continually demonstrate dedication to excellence and high-quality care at their facility – it’s clear that they respect and admire his exceptional leadership,” said Emmett Reed, FHCA’s Executive Director. “Victor is always coming up with innovative programming to ensure that residents at his facility are receiving the most enriching experience possible.”
Known among his peers as a “heck of a nice guy,” Piperata’s leadership excellence can be seen in his ability to empower his team members and keep them engaged in their work. Piperata’s infectious commitment to his work has helped him lead his facility to top marks in customer satisfaction.
“For several years now, Victor’s facility has been deficiency-free and even earned last year’s Bronze National Quality Award – they are one of few assisted living communities to earn this distinction,” said Marco Carrasco, FHCA President, who presented the award virtually. “Victor is the gold standard for health care administrators, and we are so lucky to have him on our team.”
The 2020 Assisted Living Facility Administrator of the Year award is part of Florida Health Care Association’s Long Term Care Excellence Achievement Awards which were presented during FHCA’s Virtual Conference, August 18-20.
