Chasity was inspired to enter the long-term care profession from witnessing her mother care for her grandmother during her time of need. Unknowing at that time, those moments changed the trajectory of Chasity’s life and career path.
Chasity earned her associate degree in Health and Human Services and a bachelor’s in business administration. She also holds an active CNA license, with aspirations to become a Nursing Home Administrator.
What Chasity loves the most about working in long-term care is seeing the gratitude from families in their time of need. Chasity has a personal connection with her career; her motivations stem from her personal experience in her life caring for her mom.
One of Chasity’s strongest qualities is being empathic with our residents and being able to understand their needs. This quality of hers is constantly on display. Chasity treats all residents as she treats her own family, with care and compassion.
Chasity’s advice to others considering a career in long-term care is to “Follow your passions and give love to all. When caring for seniors, you must have a genuine heart for our residents to have longevity and success in healthcare.”
