The Florida Health Care Association (FHCA) honoredLisa Brooks, Executive Director for The Residence of Timber Pines in Spring Hill, with this year’s Assisted Living Facility (ALF) Administrator of the Year at the 2024 Annual Conference & Trade Show in Orlando, Florida.

Brooks has been in the long-term care profession for more than 20 years, with 10 years as a nursing home administrator and 13 years as an ALF administrator. In addition to administrator, Brooks has worn many hats for the facilities she has served, including social worker and admissions director.

Since Brooks has taken over as Executive Director, the Residence of Timber Pines has consistently received outstanding surveys from the Agency for Health Care Administration.

FHCA’s Long Term Care Achievement Awards recognize the exemplary contributions of long-term care leaders and volunteers who daily demonstrate commitment to quality care through their dedication to residents, staff, and the long-term care profession. Awards are presented during the FHCA Annual Conference & Trade Show. The annual FHCA Administrator of the Year Awards recognize both a Nursing Home and Assisted Living Facility Administrator of the Year.
