Florida Health Care Association recently awarded $2,850 in scholarships through the Florida Health Care Education and Development Foundation to caregivers working in member centers striving to further their long term care careers. Four individuals were granted the Bruce Taylor Scholarship, which assists the best and brightest among our members’ nursing staff to advance their nursing education. One individual was awarded the Career Climb Scholarship, which promotes advancement in non-nursing long term care careers for selected member nursing home and assisted living facility employees.
