Jeff Welch, Senior Vice President of Bouchard Insurance, was recently honored as the Florida Health Care Association’s (FHCA) Willis J. Gregson Associate of the Year. The award, presented during FHCA’s 2021 Annual Conference in Orlando, is the highest honor an FHCA business partner can receive from Florida’s long term care profession.
Welch has led the way as an active supporter of FHCA, especially during the pandemic when the Association’s events and activities were shut down. Under his leadership, Bouchard Insurance stepped forward as the first FHCA Pledge Partner, maintaining their loyalty and ensuring FHCA had the resources it needed to remain financially stable and support members during their time of need. He has also been a trusted voice to the long term care profession, providing resources and guidance on the long term care insurance market and liability-related issues.

The 2021 Willis J. Gregson Award is part of Florida Health Care Association’s Long Term Care Achievement Awards which were presented during FHCA’s Annual Conference, July 25-29. These awards annually honor a Nursing Home and Assisted Living Facility Administrator of the Year, a business partner and other individuals for their service and dedication to long term care.
