Alissa Abrahim is just 20 years old and has already realized her purpose and her passion – making a meaningful impact on long term care residents and their families. As Social Services Discharge Planner at Avante at Boca Raton, Alissa serves with care and dedication and is a proud member of the Avante team. While balancing her responsibilities that include patient assessment, discharge coordination and planning, family collaboration and resource navigation, Alissa is pursuing her Masters Degree in Social Work.
Alissa shares that she loves working in long term care because she truly enjoys helping others and bring a smile to their faces.
“Being able to advocate for our residents and support them during important moments in their lives is incredibly rewarding,” said Alissa. “Knowing that I can help provide comfort, compassion, and dignity to individuals during this stage of life is what makes this work so fulfilling for me.”
